As an active member of our local AIGA chapter, and the SPF Board Chairperson I had the chance to to create the promotional materials for the 2012 student portfolio forum. After much discussion with some other AIGA members we came up with a concept centering around rockets and space that included plenty of metaphors for students getting ready to launch their own careers. To advertise for the event I designed a poster that was mailed out directly to schools to help build hype as the countdown to the event began.
