POPCORN GENRE ICONS
A series of icons representing different movie genres that I created for an iPhone app named Popcorn. From top left the genres are horror, romance, fantasy, action, comedy, documentary, science fiction, animated, western, martial arts, thriller, biography, sports, classic, drama, musical, adventure, foreign, family and period films.
I enjoyed building out a limited color palette that still let me express so many different moods and emotions as well as various different lighting and atmosphere conditions. Additionally I provided art direction and brand recommendations for Popcorn creating a logo, app icon, type styles and color that connected the iconography with the rest of the content of the app.
